Fish Bells and Teapots
Booking Office Gallery, Bungendore NSW
2001

Fish Bells and Teapots was my first solo exhibition, inspired by an exchange program I participated in between the ANU School of Art and Kyoto Seika University in 2000.

Experimenting with origami folding methods combined with shibori dye techniques the silk kimono's are life size. Images that related to my experience in Japan were taken directly from my sketch book and screen printed using gold print paste.
