Sea Rhapsody
2001

Sea Rhapsody was created using a combination of shibori binding, thermoplastic manipulation, and melt-off techniques inspired by the sea urchin.

Sea Rhapsody won international awards in 2001 with Fibreart International Guild, Pittsburgh PA, USA, an established exhibition that presents the best in contemporary fibre art across the world.

A version of Sea Rhapsody that was transformed into a dress was awarded 3rd prize at the prestigious World of Wearable Art in New Zealand in 2001.
