Westfield Derby rugs
Derby, United Kingdom
2007

In my role as Public Art Coordinator for Westfield Shoppingtowns in the UK I was invited to design bespoke rugs for the Westfield Derby shopping centre.

Working closely with the interior designers for the Parent Room and break out spaces within the shopping centre I created two designs: a brightly coloured rug for the Parents Room (an area of respite for parents with small children) and a more subdued grey tones inspired by the industry of the city, particularly Rolls Royce who manufacture many parts for aeroplanes in Derby.
